Healthy Banana Bread Recipe
A super easy Healthy Banana Bread Recipe isn’t always easy to find! This one is fool-proof. Once you have made a few and have got the hang of it, don’t be afraid to experiment by adding additions like walnuts, dried figs or even dark chocolate chips!
We love that this recipe is gluten-free, nasty sugar free and packed with protein!
What you need..
1 scoop SSM Coconut Whey Protein Blend
1/4 cup of coconut flour
3 ripe bananas
8 Medjool Dates (seeds removed) can be soaked in hot water to soften
2 Tbsp. tahini or nut butter of choice
4 – 5 free range eggs
1 tsp. bicarb soda (Gluten Free)
2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of Sea Salt
Pre-heat oven to 175-180 degrees.
Grease and line loaf tin (I use coconut oil).
Mash the bananas and dates together until smooth.
Stir in the rest of the ingredients and mix together until you have a smooth batter.
Pour batter into loaf tin and bake between 175-180 degrees for 45 minutes. Check its cooked through with a skewer.
Once cooled store in an airtight container. Simply eat on its own or spread on your favourite topping!
Can be sliced and placed in the freezer.
