Green Smoothie Bowl Recipe
It sure has been hot here on the Gold Coast this summer! Smoothie bowls are a great way to cool off and get some vital nutrients into your body!
This Green Smoothie Bowl Recipe will help boost energy levels, alkaline your body and even satisfy you those sugar cravings!
What you need….
1 tablespoon SSM Coconut Whey Protein Blend
1 frozen banana
1 cup dark leafy greens (I used spinach)
1 cup frozen pineapple or mango
1/2 coconut water or almond milk (add more if needed)
What to do….
Place all ingredients into your blender and blitz until it smooth. The texture should be icy!
We love to top ours with a little fresh fruit or the SSM home-made (click here) Toasted Cinnamon muesli !
- Simply place all ingredients into your blender and blitz.
- If nothing moves you may need to stop the blender give it a stir and add a little more liquid. And blitz again until you get an icy smooth consistency.
- Then layer - first placing a few tablespoons of toasted cinnamon muesli in the bottom of the bowl and top with the green goodness!
- Top with some fruit and a little more muesli on top! The kiddies will love this one!
