10 things to do when you get off track!

As we draw closer to the end of the week we tend to let our awesome healthy habits slip.

Sunday’s prepped meals and snacks start to run low and we don’t quite have the same motivation as we did on Monday. We may skip that planned Wednesday workout because we have been up all night with one of our kids. We have been there so many times.

Please don’t beat yourself up about it, there is a bigger picture! Ask yourself what do I need to do to get back on track? What is one thing I can do right now? Today we list a few simple things you can do push that negative voice out of your head…

 

  1. Make yourself a Big nourishing Green Smoothie
  2. Fill up a big bottle of water and sip on it during the day (squeeze some lemon into it)
  3. Close your eyes and take 10 long deep breaths
  4. Sit on the floor crossed legged and reach forward stretching out your hips for a few minutes
  5. Put in some headphones and listen to your favourite uplifting song
  6. Get some fresh air, connect your bare feet with the earth to feel more grounded
  7. Call a friend for a chat
  8. Make a list of all the things you are grateful for
  9. Hug someone, even the dog or cat!
  10. Meditate, listen to a meditation app, even for 5 minutes

Just giving your self a few minutes to reset negative thought patterns can do wonders for your mindset.
